To celebrate Bill Plympton's short film Guard Dog being nominated for the 77th Academy Awards in the category for the best animated short, we're looking for the best guard dog in the world!

If you have a dog, or a pet you believe is a great protective animal, send in a still of your pet, plus a description of why they are so talented, with your contact information (email and mailing address). The image should be no larger than 800 pixels in any direction and must be a JPG format file.

We will put the picture and description on our Plymptoons, and after 3 months, Bill Plympton will select the best ever guard dog and award a DVD of Guard Dog, plus an original drawing from Bill's award-winning film.
