Hi there,

I just wanted to say that I really appreciate what you are doing and I have been a fan for years. You are actually an inspiration to me and I hope to use your accomplishments to allow me to keep pushing to develop my own style of animation and to make my own cartoons. I quit school 10 years ago not thinking I could get anywhere in the animation world but after working crappy jobs and still dreaming of one day creating cartoons, I have once again got back into school to learn about animation and to learn more about how to put my stuff out there. I appreciate you and I think your stuff is bad ass. Hopefully one day you will be seeing my stuff somewhere and maybe I could even help out with what you are doing. I guess I like to dream big. Thank you for being a great animator and putting your ideas on paper.

I used to stay up late and watch the cartoons on TeleToon (like 10 years ago) and vaguely remember a show where they'd feature animators. All I could remember about your work was the kiss where the two people get their heads cut in half and someone running through a crowd and into a stop sign. The other day a friend was talking about Bill Plympton and the name sounded familiar.

I saw you at the Live Wire show at the Aladdin Theater last Friday (June 22). You were great! I bought your DVD, Green Toons, and just love it. Will be buying the Guard Dog t-shirt next. I just love that little guy. You need to also sell Guide Dog t-shirts, preferably with his Big Pleading Eyes look. Thanks for coming to Portland!

Bill thanks for the awesome presentation at Dreamworks yesterday. And for going to eat later, sorry we didn't get to talk much. But thanks for the drawing, the picture, and the greasy hand, "it's ok, cause I just rubbed it on your shoulder" LOL, good luck, and thanks for being an inspiration

Plympton, you have an interesting and creative eye for short animated pieces that are more geared towards viewing by adults. For those of you who are fans, Plympton is featured in the current issue of Moving Pictures and answers some questions regarding himself and his style of animation. Enjoy!

WOW BILL. This is a cool site. You are one of my favorite animators, and I it's wonderful that you've put so much of your work online. I especially like your time-lapse videos. They make you seem more... well.... mortal ;)

As an artist myself I really appreciate all of the wonderful inspiration you've put up.

Hiya! I'm really into cartoons but, somehow,I don't know how, I got myself into the university world.I wish I could take drawing lessons but they're too expensive..My parents made me go to a sciency kind of school instead of sending me to art school..I draw all the time..Things that people say or do strike me funny so I just draw them..Did this happen to you too when you were young?I'm nearly 21 but I live my life like a kid. This is the way I see the world..What do you think about it?
ps: i luuuuuurve your cartoons!

When I moved Bill's server it wrecked the old guestbook. So here is the new one. I hope that this one will work better over all than the last one.

So you know all posts will need to be validated before they go live. So you will not see your post immediately.

Best,
Rob
