IDIOTS AND ANGELS NEWS - OPENING DECEMBER 3 in CHICAGO!

Please help us spread the word about the screenings of "Idiots and Angels" in New York and L.A. - tell your friends, co-workers and people you like. We are releasing the film independently and we appreciate your support of independent animation to help this film succeed.

Bill Plympton is announcing that his film "Idiots and Angels" will open at the Music Box Theatre in Chicago on Friday, December 3. Screenings will be preceded by his new award-winning short "The Cow Who Wanted to Be a Hamburger". Bill Plympton will make personal appearances at a special preview screening on Dec. 2. The Music Box is located at 3733 North Southport Ave., Chicago. Opening night tickets: $10 advance admission, $11 day of the event. $7 advance for students. Showtimes: 773-871-6604

"Idiots and Angels" will also play at the Center for Contemporary Arts in Santa Fe NM, November 26-28. The CCA is located at 1050 Old Pecos Trail in Santa Fe.

After that, the film will also play at the Guild Theater in Sacramento on Dec. 5, and at the Guild Cinema in Albuquerque NM, Dec. 17-19.

Bill Plympton's book with Rizzoli New York, now has a title: "Independently Animated, Bill Plympton" and will be released in Spring 2011.  The book will feature art from throughout his career, some created especially for the book, as well as Bill’s personal story, complete with anecdotes and adventures about his life, career, and filmmaking.
