PLYMPTON FILM ON OSCARS SHORT LIST Oscar nominations will be announced on January 25. Tune in to see if Bill's short film "Guard Dog" will get nominated for an Academy Award!
GUARD DOG CONTEST
To celebrate Bill Plympton's short film "Guard Dog" being shortlisted for the Oscars, we're looking for the best guard dog in the world!
If you have a dog, or a pet you believe is a great protective animal, send in a still of your pet, plus a description of why they are so talented, with your contact information (email and mailing address). The image should be no larger than 800 pixels in any direction and must be a JPG format file.
We will put the picture and description on our web-site, and after 3 months, Bill Plympton will select the best ever guard dog and award a DVD of "Guard Dog", plus an original drawing from the award-winning film.

THE ANIMATION SHOW - 2005 PROGRAM
"Guard Dog" is appearing in the line-up of the second version of The Animation Show, a festival of shorts that will be traveling around the country throughout 2005. The collection is programmed by Mike Judge and Don Hertzfeldt, and also features such fine films as "Fireworks", "Rock Fish", "The Man with No Shadow", "Bunnies", "Fallen", "When the Day Breaks", "Ward 13",
"The Man With No Shadow" and "The Meaning of Life".
