Bill Plympton’s second live-action feature film, “Guns on the Clackamas” (2009) is a hilariously grim look at the making of a Hollywood western, co-written by Bill and P.C Vey. Even when all of the actors die, the film must be completed.
Inspired by the tragic death of Jean Harlow while filming “Saratoga”, “Guns on the Clackamus” features cameos by Gus Van Sant and Thomas Lauderdale of Pink Martini.
